As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading our initiative to transition from Linux hosts to containerized environments using OpenShift (RedHat). You will leverage your extensive hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices to drive efficiency, scalability, and reliability in our development and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the transition from Linux hosts to containerized environments using OpenShift (RedHat). Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and shell scripting. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our DevOps processes. Skills and Requirements Qualifications:
Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering. At least 4 years of experience with OpenShift (RedHat) containerization. Strong technical troubleshooting skills in Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible, JIRA. Very comfortable in windows and linux command line OS level expertise in Linux, Windows server. Expertise in shell scripting. Must have a solid understanding of SDLC. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to communicate effectively both written and verbal. Able to support clients in a fast paced environment in critical situations. Nice to
Have Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
