Job Description:
Role Overview:

As a GCP Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of foundational capabilities on GCP that enable tenants within our organization to leverage data and analytics services effectively. You will play a crucial role in shaping our cloud strategy, architecting solutions, and ensuring seamless integration and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of data and analytics solutions on GCP, including Big Query, ETL processes, and BI tools. Develop and maintain technical architectures, design diagrams, and documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Present design proposals and technical architectures to clients and internal teams. Ensure best practices and standards are followed in the development and deployment of GCP solutions. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay updated with the latest GCP features and industry trends to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

15+ years of overall experience in IT, with a strong focus on cloud technologies and data analytics. Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly in Big Query, ETL, and BI services. Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud solutions. Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data integration. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in creating detailed design diagrams and technical documentation. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Relevant certifications in GCP are a plus.
