Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile Hadoop Developer / Analyst to support both development and stakeholder communication efforts. This role requires strong technical expertise in big data technologies and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into layman’s terms for non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Hadoop (Cloudera), Hive, Spark, and Python.
Translate business requirements from non-technical stakeholders into actionable technical tasks.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with product owners and technical leads to ensure alignment on project goals.
Utilize Autosys for job scheduling and Kafka for data streaming and integration.
Support data architecture initiatives and contribute to scalable data solutions.
Assist in stakeholder meetings and executive presentations to convey project status and technical insights.
Balance development tasks with business analysis and requirement gathering. Required Qualifications
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in layman’s terms.
Hands-on experience with Hadoop (Cloudera), Hive, Spark, and Python.
Experience with Autosys and Kafka.
Background in data architecture and scalable data solutions. Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a Business Analyst (BA) or Data Analyst (DA).
Prior experience presenting to executives or working closely with stakeholders.
