About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead .NET Software Engineer in our team that supports technology for Wells Fargo’s Internal Audit group.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impactAct as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplinesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programsReview and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factorsMake decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goalsLead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentorDrive operational improvements to increase service delivery efficiency and business partner satisfactionPartner with product owner to ensure system changes/enhancements are appropriate, effectively designed and tested prior to their move to productionUnderstand and assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are metParticipate in daily scrum activitiesProvide technical and leadership guidance to contractors and less experienced staffBe able to lead multiple complex projects effectively with minimal guidanceProvide leadership with technical solutions to complex problems keeping performance and security in mind.
Engage in Incident/Problem Management including incident triage and root cause analysisBe able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationParticipate in BCP activitiesNavigate through the nuances of a technology delivery and ensure deliverables are met
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of .NET experience5+ years of building services is REST APIs5+ years of experience in writing relational database queries5+ years in building integration solutions with
COTS GRC
applications5+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)5+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design3+ years of experience with Agile in a development environment
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of technology architecture: leading and designing conceptual, logical and physical architectureStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsA BS/BA degree or higherExperience leading projects that require integration of multiple technology systems to deliver new online functionality and user experienceBe able to demonstrate problem solving skills and understanding the big picture.
Experience with IBM OpenpagesExperience leading a fast paced, demanding, and deadline driven production environmentExperience with scripting languages such as AngularReporting experience, analytics experience or a combination of both
