Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned .NET Developer – Lead Engineer to support the migration of legacy .NET applications to a modern Java-based stack. The role requires reverse engineering existing codebases, understanding business rules, identifying dependencies, and providing hands-on development expertise. This position demands strong technical leadership and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
Analyze and reverse engineer existing .NET applications to extract business rules and system dependencies.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to support the migration of applications to Java-based platforms.
Develop, maintain, and enhance legacy .NET applications during the transition period.
Design and implement solutions using .NET C#, ASP.NET MVC/WebForms, and Angular.
Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures for SQL Server-based backends.
Leverage TFS/Git for version control and ensure adherence to SDLC methodologies.
Apply principles of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and participate in automated testing practices.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate using tools like Jira and Confluence. Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience with .NET C# development.
10+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC and/or WebForms.
10+ years of experience with JavaScript (native), HTML5.
5+ years of experience with Angular.
5+ years of experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures and query optimization.
Strong understanding of TFS/Git, SDLC, automated testing frameworks, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD). Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AFKW (internal client framework).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools.
Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
Exposure to Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
Working knowledge of PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) or other cloud platforms.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Awareness of application security and license compliance tools such as Blackduck.
