Senior Observability Engineer AppDynamics to Splunk Observability Cloud Migration
Location:
Charlotte, NC
Rate:

Role Overview:
Lead the migration of application monitoring dashboards, alerts, and metrics from AppDynamics to Splunk Observability Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
Migration of Dashboards & Alerts:
Plan, execute, and enhance migration from AppDynamics to Splunk.
OpenTelemetry Instrumentation:
Implement OpenTelemetry-based instrumentation for applications and services.
Data Pipeline Setup:
Configure data pipelines for real-time metric streaming, trace collection, and alerting.
Dashboard Optimization:
Re-engineer dashboards to ensure clear insights for LOB and event monitoring.
Automation:
Develop Python scripts to automate configuration migration tasks.
Integration with
Cloud & DevOps:
Integrate observability solutions into cloud environments (AWS) and DevOps workflows (CI/CD).
