As a Software Engineering Consultant, you will: Provide expert consultation on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning. Review and analyze multifaceted, large-scale, or long-term software engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented elements. Contribute to the resolution of complex situations by applying a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to meet deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years of software engineering experience, demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. 6+ years of experience in developing integrated and secure enterprise or web-based applications using Java/J2EE. 2+ years of experience with business process workflow software. 4+ years of experience with Spring Framework. Experience in microservices architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in analysis, coding, and debugging Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate. Experience with distributed systems and microservices. Knowledge of or experience with Kafka. Experience working with REST services. Proficiency in API development and knowledge of common design patterns. Experience managing applications in a cloud environment (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS). Experience working in an Agile environment.
