Contract / Contingent About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will provide strategic technical consultation and contribute to large-scale software engineering initiatives. You’ll work on complex challenges that require deep technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong understanding of engineering best practices. Responsibilities Lead and consult on complex software engineering projects with broad organizational impact. Analyze and resolve multifaceted technical challenges, often involving novel or ambiguous factors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies and ensure alignment with business goals. Apply a deep understanding of software engineering principles, compliance requirements, and organizational policies to deliver high-quality solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations that drive innovation and efficiency. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or equivalent experience through a combination of work, consulting, military service, or education. Proven ability to navigate and resolve complex technical problems. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional environments.
