About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer (SE4 level) with a strong background in AI/ML, large language models (LLMs), and cloud-native development. In this role, you will consult on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve multifaceted engineering challenges and drive innovation in generative AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and consult on complex software engineering projects with broad organizational impact.
Analyze and resolve large-scale, multi-dimensional engineering challenges involving novel or unprecedented factors.
Design and implement scalable APIs and cloud-native architectures for AI/ML applications.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals and compliance requirements.
Optimize and deploy AI models on GPU clusters, leveraging distributed computing for high-performance workloads.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software engineering or equivalent (including consulting, military, or academic experience).
3+ years of experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
3+ years of experience working with GPU clusters for AI/ML workloads.
2+ years of experience with large language models (LLMs).
2+ years of experience with Apache Iceberg or similar data lake technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, Django, and cloud-native frameworks.
Experience with real-time data streaming using Apache Kafka.
Hands-on experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark (PySpark), TensorFlow Distributed, PyTorch Distributed, and Horovod.
Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks such as LLaMA, Mistral, etc.
Experience configuring and managing NVIDIA GPUs and Google Cloud Platform infrastructure (TPUs, GPU instances).
Strong understanding of API development, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and scalable system design.
