We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer for a contingent resource assignment focused on solving complex, large-scale challenges in software engineering. In this role, you will consult on strategic initiatives, contribute to the resolution of multifaceted technical problems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
You will work on cutting-edge technologies in Generative AI, Machine Learning, MLOps, and distributed systems, helping to shape the future of intelligent applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
Analyze and resolve large-scale, multi-dimensional engineering challenges involving novel or unprecedented factors.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and distributed systems.
Mentor and guide engineering teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Technical Expertise:

Generative AI:

LLMs, vector databases, embedding models, vector search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

AI/ML:

Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Scikit-learn, Spark ML, TensorFlow, Keras, NLP (spaCy, NLTK)

MLOps:

Model development, testing, deployment using AWS SageMaker, Ray

Distributed Systems & Big Data:

Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra

Data Science:

Python ecosystem (Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.)

Cloud Platforms:

AWS, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Microsoft Azure

Programming Languages:

Python, Java, Scala, R, Shell

Datastores:

Vector stores (MongoDB Atlas, Milvus), NoSQL (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis), SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

DevOps & Tooling:

Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Linux, Git

Performance Optimization:

Monitoring and tuning of Python/Java applications, databases, and distributed systems

Microsoft Ecosystem:

Experience with Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent experience through a combination of work, consulting, military service, or education.
