Contract / Contingent About the Role As a DevOps Software Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the build, deployment, and operational readiness of the Global Servicing Solutions (GSS) platform. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and monitoring of application components across environments. This role requires a strong foundation in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and software engineering principles. Responsibilities Manage build and deployment pipelines for GSS application components across non-production environments. Partner with Platform Support to configure monitoring, alerting, and coordinate production releases. Collaborate with delivery teams to configure and maintain both non-production and production environments. Ensure environment availability and readiness in coordination with Product and Engineering teams. Troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues in collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams. Maintain compliance by completing Change Management and Secure SDLC documentation for each release. Contribute to the design, development, testing, and documentation of non-functional requirements and minor feature enhancements. Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of experience in software engineering or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles. Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Gradle, Artifactory, SonarQube, and CheckMarx. Experience with deployment automation tools like uDeploy and Harness. Hands-on experience managing applications in cloud environments (Azure, GCP, or AWS). 2+ years of experience with container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift. Strong programming background with 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE. 2+ years of experience with Spring Framework. Experience with Microservices and Micro Frontend architectures. Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Solid understanding of API design patterns and unit testing practices. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and practices. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
