Job Description:

As a Software Engineer in this contingent resource assignment, you will:
Engage in initiatives of varying complexity and identify opportunities for process improvements within Software Engineering.
Review and analyze software engineering tasks or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, focusing on low-to-medium risk deliverables.
Present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations, exercising independent judgment while developing an understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Provide information and support to client personnel in Software Engineering.

Additional Skills:

2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
1+ year of experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot.
1+ year of experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience developing applications in a CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins or GitHub.
1+ years of experience with Angular or React.
Experience working within Scrum/Agile frameworks.
1+ years of experience with Junit, TDD, or BDD.
Exposure to or understanding of Kubernetes.
Understanding of Microservices and associated design patterns.
Experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ IDE.
