About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in driving complex, high-impact software engineering initiatives. You’ll consult on large-scale planning efforts, analyze multifaceted technical challenges, and contribute to the design and delivery of scalable, reliable solutions. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities
Provide technical consultation on complex software engineering projects with broad organizational impact.
Analyze and resolve large-scale or long-term engineering challenges, considering multiple variables and novel factors.
Ensure solutions align with organizational policies, compliance standards, and delivery timelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Contribute to the development and optimization of batch processing systems and cloud-native applications.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software engineering or equivalent experience through a combination of work, consulting, military service, or education.
Proficiency in Java and Oracle 19c development.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as JavaScript and Angular (or similar).
Strong knowledge of SQL Server and batch processing development.
Familiarity with cloud platforms including PCF, OpenShift, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to work on complex systems and deliver scalable solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a consultative approach.
Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
