Our client is currently seeking a Python/Data Engineer
About the Role
As a Software Engineer in this contingent resource assignment, you will play a key role in driving solutions for moderately complex engineering challenges. You will contribute to large-scale planning and execution of Software Engineering deliverables while applying a deep understanding of industry standards, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Your collaboration with client personnel will be essential to ensure engineering initiatives align with business goals.
Responsibilities
Analyze and resolve moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Design, develop, and optimize software solutions for big data processing using Apache Spark.
Build, maintain, and enhance applications with Django and Apache Airflow.
Develop scalable cloud-based solutions, ensuring robust system performance.
Collaborate with internal and client teams to align engineering deliverables with technical and business requirements.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, best practices, and trends in Software Engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, demonstrated through work experience, consulting, training, military service, or education.
3+ years of experience working with Apache Spark for big data processing.
1+ years of experience developing with Django and Apache Airflow.
1+ years of hands-on cloud development experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in Spark frameworks (Python/PySpark).
Strong coding skills in Python, Airflow, and Django.
Experience with shell scripting for automation.
Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services, images).
Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes & Docker.
