Akkodis is seeking a Teradata Developer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid). You will design, build, and enhance complex data solutions supporting Financial Crimes technology.
Rate Range:
$60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Teradata Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain complex Teradata-based applications to support Financial Crimes technology initiatives.
Collaborate with business partners to define requirements, refine user stories, and deliver scalable data solutions.
Write and optimize
SQL/BTEQ
scripts, TPT jobs, and UNIX shell scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Perform data analysis, database performance tuning, and develop data models for large-scale AML monitoring systems.
Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
Coordinate development efforts in a distributed environment and support change management, platform upgrades, and ongoing application maintenance.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline from an accredited university.
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in software development, with strong expertise in Teradata and data engineering.
Proficiency in
SQL/BTEQ
scripting, TPT, UNIX shell scripting, and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD tools (Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket), and experience working in financial domains, particularly Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Financial Crimes.

Pay Details:
$60.00 to $65.00 per hour
