Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 24+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Lead and deliverplex technology initiatives across the Trade Surveillance Data Engineering team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, high-performing, and secure data solutions
Design, build, test, and maintain ETL packages using SSIS and Python from sources like flat files, JSON, Oracle, FTP, and NDM
Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for internal and regulatory use.
Manage batch scheduling using Autosys JIL
Document systems and workflows thoroughly, maintainingpliance with testing and QA standards
Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tickets in JIRA across five scrum teams with bi-weekly ss
Engage in early-stage planning around generative AI capabilities and long-term internal tool development

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of software engineering experience, specifically in data engineering and BI
Advanced knowledge in:
Python (required)
Power BI (expert level)
SSIS (ETL development)
Pyspark
SQL Server
Autosys JIL
Agile methodology, Scrum, and JIRA ticket management experience
Excellentmunication and documentation skills

Pay Range:

$60-70
