ISG is eager to add an Architect to our team in Raleigh! As a part of a multi-disciplinary firm, you will have the opportunity to flex your creative muscles all while making a difference in our communities. You will be an employee owner, collaborating with architects, designers, engineers, project managers, and other employee owners who apply a nimble and forward-thinking approach when serving client needs. In this role, you will work closely with Neil Gray, AIA, Business Unit Leader and Linda Lavis, Business Unit Executive. You will also collaborate with ISG internal resources for design and project collaboration, project execution, code review and evaluations, specification writers, visualization specialists, and construction administrators. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Work directly with clients in all phases of design process – from the initial napkin sketch to opening the front door! Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications Develop and maintain project budgets, work plans, and contracts Collaborate with other enthusiastic ISGers while leading design efforts to create inspiring and uplifting spaces to live, work, and play Communicate project goals, objectives, design standards and procedures with project managers and multi-disciplinary teams Maintain the quality control of drawings and specifications Direct the development and preparation of project contract documents Get your boots dirty conducting site visits to observe construction progress and respond to any on-site challenges Help mentor and develop the next generation of designers and architects Willingness to think bigger, better, and bolder to make a difference in our communities!

QUALIFICATIONS
