Core Corporation seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to serve as a member of the Agile development team responsible for the full software development life cycle including specification, design, implementation, and level-3 production support. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent and three (3) years of experience developing enterprise application services per business requirement specifications; designing and developing backend services using Java features including Lamba expressions, Stream API, and Collection factory methods to enhance code safety and application performance; developing multi-threaded server applications to handle high-volume client requests using Executor Service and Concurrent Package from Java’s Concurrency Framework; developing frontend applications using React and C#; conducting testing to identify and resolve potential deadlocks and race conditions; creating Java based applications to automate daily maintenance tasks to reduce maintenance costs; developing RESTful controllers for external service communications; developing integration tests and automated unit test scripts for application services; performing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Apache Kafka, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Quality Assurance Testing (QAT), and Messaging Services; and monitoring production systems and providing post-deployment support by debugging and resolving technical issues reported by users on priority.

Salary range:

$150,000.00
