DevOps Engineer
Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a contract job with a client in Raleigh, NC
. The ideal candidate will have a good background in Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot, along with extensive experience in DevOps practices and tools.

Rate Range:

$53/hour to $68.18/ hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
DevOps Engineer job responsibilities include:
Work on a high-impact banking project, ensuring robust and secure deployment practices.
Good knowledge on Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
Create and manage continuous integration pipelines in GitLab.
Integrate Veracode and Qualys security tools into DevOps pipelines to ensure code security and compliance.
Deploy applications using AWS ECS and Lambda.
Utilize AWS Secret Manager and other AWS tools for secure and efficient application management.
Build and manage environments using Terraform and Ansible.
Develop and maintain Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks for automated infrastructure provisioning.
Implement and manage Docker containers for application deployment and scaling.
Leverage additional DevOps tools and practices to deliver solutions and resolve issues efficiently.
Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends and technologies to continuously improve our processes.

Desired Qualifications:

6-10 years in DevOps, with a strong focus on Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot, DevOps, IaC(Ansible, Terraform)
Proficiency in GitLab for CI/CD pipeline creation.
Experience with Veracode and Qualys for security integration.
Strong knowledge of AWS ECS, Lambda, and AWS Secret Manager.
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
Expertise in Docker for containerization.
Familiarity with other DevOps tools and practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay Details:
