Director of Validation Engineering A leading provider of chipsand silicon IP is seeking an outstanding Director of ValidationEngineering to join their Memory Interface Chip business unit. Inthis full-time role, you will collaborate with some of thebrightest inventors and engineers globally, developing cutting-edgeproducts that enhance data speed and security. As the Director ofValidation Engineering, you will work hands-on in the lab,automating data collection and creating a framework to developvalidation environments that ensure system performance andcompliance with specifications. This role offers the opportunity togain expertise in processor-memory interfaces, such as DDRtopologies and protocols, as well as high-speed signaling with afocus on signal integrity and power integrity concepts.

Responsibilities:

Lab bring-up and validation of high-speed memorybuffer semiconductor products. Develop test methodologies forvalidating silicon designs against specifications. Develop scriptsfor automating lab equipment and for analyzing lab data. Work withsilicon design teams to develop experiments, drive data collection,and present results analysis. Provide inputs to FPGA, system, andPCB design requirements. Support Applications Team in understandingand resolving customer issues. Lead a team of validation engineers.

Requirements:

Knowledge processor / memory system architecture.

Experience with Advantest V93000 (93K) platform is required.

Understanding of high-speed interface concepts, including signalintegrity. Hands on experience with SDRAM (DDR4 and/or DDR5).Experience leading and managing engineering teams. Fast learnerwith interest in hands-on lab work and writing software for labautomation. Must be a team player and able to collaborate withother lab engineers and circuit designers. Working knowledge oftest and measurement equipment, troubleshooting and debugging.

Hands-on hardware experience with x86 computer systems, a plus.

B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or relate field.
