Embedded Systems Engineer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled individual with strong experience in developing multi-threaded C++ applications on embedded Linux systems. You will be responsible for working on complex projects, collaborating with team members, and enhancing existing systems through innovative solutions. Responsibilities + Develop and maintain multi-threaded C++ applications on embedded Linux systems. + Conduct requirements analysis and provide accurate effort estimations. + Integrate and debug network applications and systems. + Utilize AI during the development life cycle to enhance project outcomes. + Create and update unit and functional tests using Google Test and Pytest. + Familiarize with JSON, RPC, RESTful APIs, and continuous integration processes. + Participate in CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Bamboo, Jenkins, and Artifactory. + Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve project goals. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. + 7+ years of experience developing multi-threaded C++ applications on embedded Linux systems. + Experience with networking protocols such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, and routing protocols. + Proficiency in C++, embedded software development, and Linux. + Experience with unit testing using Pytest or Google Test. + Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, OSI, switching, and routing. + Familiarity with JSON, RPC, and RESTful APIs. + Ability to work well in team environments and contribute to collaborative efforts. Work Environment This position requires the ability to work on-site, with the possibility of remote work available after an evaluation period. You will work with modern technologies and tools in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 – $60.00/hr.
