Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a global financial powerhouse pioneering innovative banking solutions while shaping the future of sustainable finance for a full-time, hybrid position located in Cary, North Carolina (NC) . The Senior Full Stack Engineer will architect and develop complex enterprise systems using Big Data technologies and modern programming frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions through the entire software development lifecycle. Responsibilities of the Senior Full Stack Engineer include: Contribute to project success through fullstack development, including micro frontends, microservices, event-driven system integrations, and SQL/NoSQL databases. Design APIs for an API-first platform, ensuring seamless integration with primary UI implementations. Adapt to a hybrid cloud architecture, leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions to enhance efficiency while transitioning from on-premise technologies. Conduct code reviews and contribute to best practices for maintainability, security, observability, modular development, and code reuse. Develop and implement a long-term technology strategy, evaluating cloud and on-premise options, optimizing the use of GCP, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
