Responsibilities:
Manage, maintain, and enhance the z/OS mainframe operating system and its critical subsystems.
Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance in the design, implementation, and modernization of mainframe infrastructure.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME)
, collaborating with internal technical teams and executive-level stakeholders.
Drive best practices, standards, and process improvements across mainframe systems to ensure reliability and performance.
Design and deliver integrated solutions that align with statewide application and infrastructure strategies.
Ensure system availability, data integrity, and compliance with state IT policies and procedures
Required Skills:
10+ years of experience managing, maintaining, and enhancing z/OS mainframe operating systems and subsystems
10+ years of experience providing strategic guidance and technical leadership in mainframe environments
