Mainframe Developer/Programmer
Position:
Mainframe Developer/Programmer
Location:
Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)
Duration:
6 Months
Candidate Must be Local to North Carolina state and 10+ Years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS
Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing mainframe programs
Perform unit testing and assist with system/integration testing
Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers
Ensure system performance, reliability, and security
Qualifications:
Experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS
Familiarity with mainframe tools such as TSO/ISPF and SDSF
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
