Responsible for designing and testing program logic, coding programs, program documentation and preparation of programs for deployment.

Essential Functions:

Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and installs modified and new programs which are currently in all computer systems. Monitors production programs for expected performance and responds to errors and emergency problems. Works with the team and the business analysts to develop requirements and meet programming assignment goals in a timely and accurate manner. Identifies and fixes program flaws, both logical and technical, in the supported software applications as they are reported. Adds features to the applications as requested and approved by management. New features consist of new information to be entered, stored, and retrieved in the systems and/or new user interface options or designs.
