Honeywell’s Smart Energy is seeking an advanced software engineer to be part of our meter data collection team. The Honeywell meter data collection software will be used by utilities to provision, monitor, and collect data from Honeywell Gas, Water and Electric Smart meters. They will be responsible for designing and developing features for the Honeywell meter data collection system by following established software development processes for a high-quality product delivery within an agile development framework. You will report directly to our Sr. Software Engineering Manager and will work out of our Raleigh, NC location on a hybrid work schedule. The candidate should be mid level software engineer, with experience in designing and developing software applications on windows platform. The candidate will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and support the product during limited availability release to customer. They will work with Architects, Customer Support leaders, cloud data engineers, devops, data scientists and Offering Management stakeholders to deliver features and offerings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work within an Agile Development environment, taking part in daily standups, sprint planning, epic workshops, task/user story ownership, participating in code reviews, deliver assigned tasks within our development cycle. Write, test, integrate, debug and troubleshoot software Develop and deliver new features with automated test coverage Resolve issues found by static code analysis
