SUMMARY:

We seek skilled full-stack Software Engineers witha strong .NET and JavaScript development foundation to enhance ourengineering team’s capabilities on our Azure-based microservicesplatform. The candidate will contribute to designing, developing,and optimizing software solutions crucial for meeting business anduser needs. The role requires a solid understanding of softwareengineering practices and an ability to apply Agile methodologieseffectively throughout the software development lifecycle.

WHATYOU’LL BE DOING

Software Development:

: Engage in front and backend developmentusing .NET Core, C#, and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular,React, Svelte), ensuring efficient, scalable, and robust softwaresolutions.

Agile Management :

Actively participate in Agile practices,including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives, taking aproactive role to ensure alignment with sprint goals and addressingimpediments.

Backlog Management:

Refine user stories and contribute to theteam’s backlog, handling more complex stories or significantcomponents of the project.

Code Optimization:

Optimize the existing codebase to enhanceperformance and scalability, applying best coding practices andensuring security compliance.

Knowledge Development :

Develop domain and technologyknowledge, including services, methodologies, strategies,standards, tools, and best practices for development processes.

Peer Mentoring :

Guide and support Associate Software Engineers,aiding their technical and professional growth.

Documentation:

Create and maintain detailed technicaldocumentation to support development and ensure smoothoperations.

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE

3+ years of .NET Core, C# 1+ years of a modern JavaScript framework (Angular, React,Svelte, etc.) 1+ years of SQL Server Bachelor’s Degree Microsoft AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals Certification (ifcertification is not current, must be obtained within the first 60days of employment)

Azure Development:

• Familiar with the fundamentalsof cloud services, including public, private, and hybrid cloudmodels; Knowledge of specific Azure services relevant to projects,such as Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, and Azure SQL. Programming Languages
• Can cleanly code in Azure-supportedlanguages like C#, JavaScript, Python, and PowerShell forautomation tasks; skilled in frameworks like .NET or Angular fordeveloping robust and scalable applications. DevOps Practices
• Familiar with continuous integration andcontinuous delivery (CI/CD) to automate application build, testing,and deployment. Security Awareness
• Knowledge of security best practices inthe cloud, including using Azure Security Center and understandingof identity management with Azure Active Directory.

Database Management and Design:

Proficient in SQL for querywriting and database management. Familiar with Azure Cosmos DB forNoSQL solutions and SQL Server or Oracle for relational databaseservices.
