Job Description:
Responsible for providing third tier (top-level) technical troubleshooting, design assistance, configuration and support of all Arista products and technologies to customers and partners. Troubleshooting and providing solutions for highly complex and dynamic customer network environments which often include cloud/datacenter deployments, latency-sensitive networks. Utilize equipment and tools such as Ixia, Wireshark, various Linux/Unix utilities and Python scripting language to assist in debugging network issues, writing scripts, automation, and providing configuration-based solutions on customer requirements. Simulate and recreate customer-found issues in the network lab to be able to narrow down root cause, identify and fix platform-specific issues. Work closely with software/development team on escalations and software defects/bugs to identify the root cause of the issue. Document customer communication and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development. Assist with building a database with training materials and troubleshooting documentation. Prepare and deliver training presentations to the team on new features/technologies and upcoming products.
