We need our engineers to be versatile, displayleadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems aswe continue to push technology forward.
Responsibilities:
Develops,maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g.,processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development,manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, andbusiness management information systems) based upon documentedrequirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews andtests software components for adherence to the design requirementsand documents test results. Resolves software problem reports.
Utilizes software development and software design methodologiesappropriate to the development environment. Provides specific inputto the software components of system design to includehardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of CommercialOff-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place ofnew development, and requirements analysis and synthesis fromsystem level to individual software components. Experience withsome or all of the following: Programming languages such as Java,C#, C++, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Ruby and Go IDEs such asEclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, Visual Studio and VSCode Operating systems such as Windows, Unix, Linux and macOS Teamcollaboration and issue tracking tools such as Atlassian Suite(JIRA, Confluence), GitHub and ServiceNow Software frameworks suchas Spring, Angular and Bootstrap Databases such as Oracle, MySQLand MongoDB Build tools such as Maven and Jenkins Containers andcontainer orchestration tools such as Docker and KubernetesConfiguration management tools such as Git, SVN and CVS Cloudproviders such as
AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Requirements:
Nodemonstrated experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in ComputerScience or related discipline from an accredited college oruniversity is required. Four (4) years of software engineeringexperience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. TS/SCI withFull Scope Polygraph clearance is required.
