Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Engineer to join an Agile Scrum team focused on building and maintaining software applications for trading and cash management. This role involves hands-on development across the full stack, including user interfaces, microservices, and messaging systems, with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and business analysts to understand business and technical requirements.
Design and develop user interfaces using Angular, along with Java microservices and AKKA/Kafka messaging services.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to build and deployment pipeline strategies.
Engage in product quality efforts including test case development, code reviews, and regression testing.
Lead engineering practices related to source control, code quality, performance, DevOps, and CI/CD.
Manage production releases and deployments; participate in on-call rotation for Level 3 support.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members in an Agile delivery environment. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in software development.
Proficiency in Java (server-side), Spring/SpringBoot, and
REST API
development.
Strong experience in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
Experience with messaging frameworks such as Kafka.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Blue/Green deployments).
Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Karate, or Cypress.
Exposure to public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Familiarity with Docker, EKS, and serverless architecture.
Experience in financial services or investment-related applications.
