The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Java w/AWS (Hybrid) to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build innovative, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS, React JS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, Javascript, and mySQL.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.units.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Implement best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software solutions remain cutting-edge.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of software solutions.
Document software designs, code, and processes for future reference and maintenance.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns

Aws Applications will be accepted until May 16 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $81,337- $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
