The Global Finance Technologyorganization is looking to hire an experienced Senior SAP FS-RIConfiguration Engineer to their Reinsurance team within the OneGLprogram. Under limited supervision, this individual would beresponsible for analyzing, developing, configuring, and supportingnew and existing use cases within FS-RI and FS-CD. This candidatewill support production users and configure, test, and train tosupport maintenance and enhancement of the OneGL financeenvironment supporting the financial month-end close process.

Responsibilities include modifying, testing, data analysis,debugging, maintaining, and enhancing existing programs.

About thejob:

Configures modules according to defined design specs &demonstrates a highly proficient understanding of transactions andmajor configuration options for business processes. Identifies andcoordinates the interdependencies within modules to ensuredevelopment activities are positively impacted. Performs dataanalysis proactively, supports migration loads, and createsreconciliation reports across multiple integration points. Supportstesting cycles, develops complex test scripts, and assistscoordinating test transactional data creation. Identifies andresearches complex testing and configuration defects in FS-RI andFS-CD. Identifies designs for functional and technical requirements(e.g., gap analysis, infrastructure, interfaces, reports,enhancements, and/or conversions). Documents architecturedevelopment and standards. Identifies design elements of newbusiness processes and package application design. Uses testingtools successfully and documents test results for components withinmodules or business processes within a mixed team. Identifiesprocess improvements that address complex functional and packagetechnology gaps within business processes. Analyzes and preparescomplex technology enabled recommendations to address gaps withinbusiness processes. Supports pieces of the implementation processsuch as post implementation support, cutover plans, and transitionplanning. Other duties and projects as assigned. QualificationsBachelor or Master`s degree in technical or business discipline orequivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of Techno-Functional SAPFinance experience. Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on FS-RI and FS-CDconfiguration experience preferred. Extensive knowledgeimplementing SAP and FI/CO modules. Strong understanding offinancial transactional flow, SAP general ledger and reinsuranceconcepts such as company codes, treaties, chart of accounts, codingblocks, profit centers, cost centers, ledgers, currencies, etc.

Strong understanding of reinsurance business processes and abilityto map business requirements to standard SAP processes with minimalor no customization. Strong communication with the ability tocollaborate effectively with both technical and non-technicalstakeholders with a proven track record of collaboration acrossmultiple organizations, business partners, and stakeholders. Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work withambiguous and incomplete information. Good understanding of agilesoftware development concepts and processes including backlogtracking, prioritization, strong collaboration within a scrum team,and adaptability through incremental delivery. Must be proactive,demonstrate initiative and be a logical thinker, have extensiveconsultative skills, including the ability to understand and applycustomer requirements, including drawing out unforeseenimplications and making recommendations for design, the ability todefine design reasoning, understanding potential impacts of designrequirements. Strong negotiation, facilitation, and consensusbuilding skills. Experience providing production support includingtroubleshooting issues, requirements gathering and solution designfor enhancement requests, as well as implementing the solution viaconfiguration, etc. Experience within the Insurance or Financeindustry is preferred.
