Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a technical field of study and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong experience with back-end Javascript/Typescript development using frameworks like Node. Exposure to React or other UI frameworks is nice to have.
- Experienced with developing REST APIs, including troubleshooting and resolving issues by debugging code, analyzing logs, and writing, testing, and deploying fixes.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, ideally including serverless technologies i.e. Lambda, API Gateway, CDK, etc.
- Fluency with Linux command-line environments, including proficiency with bash scripting, command-line tools, and analyzing log files to diagnose and resolve server-side issues.
- Ability to write accurate and comprehensive documentation of issues encountered and resolutions implemented.
- Solid problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
- Technica leader who can mentor and develop other engineers and improve development processes.
- Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills.
