VCF Solution Architect
A well-established enterprise technology solutions provider is seeking a VCF Solution Architect to join its high-impact engineering team. This hybrid role is ideal for candidates based in the Eastern time zone, with periodic in-office collaboration required. The position offers a dynamic blend of solution design, client engagement, and technical delivery. The successful candidate will bring deep VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) expertise, strong architectural experience, and the ability to support both greenfield and brownfield infrastructure deployments.

Responsibilities:

Architect and implement enterprise VCF environments across private and hybrid cloud infrastructures
Lead end-to-end deployment of core VCFponents including vSp, vSAN, NSX, vCenter, SDDC Manager, and the Aria Suite (Operations, Network, Logs, Lifecycle Manager)
Partner with sales and engineering teams to gather client requirements and design tailored infrastructure solutions
Balance pre-sales engagement with hands-on delivery, gradually transitioning toward a solution design emphasis
Develop multi-site architectures, disaster recovery plans, and workload migration strategies
Integrate VCF environments with third-party technologies in networking, storage, and security domains
Conduct technical workshops, client briefings, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions
Produceprehensive architectural documentation, deployment plans, and operational guidelines
Provide mentorship to junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery practices
Ensure adnce to security standards,pliance requirements, and industry best practices

Requirements:

5-7+ years of experience designing and deploying VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments
Strong background in pre-sales consulting and customer-facing solution development
Expertise in core VMware technologies including vSp, NSX, vSAN, and the Aria Suite
Hands-on experience with infrastructure lifecycle management, automation, and VCF optimization
Familiarity with deployments on platforms such as VMware Cloud on AWS, Dell VxRail, or other HCI solutions
Solid understanding of enterprise networking, storage systems, and security configurations
Excellentmunication, documentation, and client relationship skills
Proven ability to deliverplex solutions in both greenfield and brownfield environments
Experience working with value-added resellers (VARs) or systems integrators preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Prior experience mentoring technical consultants or contributing to practice development
