RUTHERFORD, NJ

has an immediatecontract opportunity for an experienced Application Developer “Thisrole is currently on a Hybrid Schedule. You will need to havereliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote accessinto the client systems during remote work. We will be expected inthe office weekly 3 days depending on the team requirement. Video/f2f interviews are required prior to all offers.

Pay rate range:

$52.00 – $ 62.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience TheApplications Development Senior Programmer is an intermediate levelposition responsible for participation in the establishment andimplementation of new or revised application systems and programsin coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective ofthis role is to contribute to applications systems analysis andprogramming activities.

Responsibilities:

Utilize knowledge ofapplications development procedures and concepts, and basicknowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessarysystem enhancements, including using script tools andanalyzing/interpreting code Consult with users, clients, and othertechnology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions,install, and support customer exposure systems Apply fundamentalknowledge of programming languages for design specifications.

Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and securityissues, as well as conduct testing and debugging Serve as advisoror coach to new or lower level analysts Identify problems, analyzeinformation, and make evaluative judgement to recommend andimplement solutions Resolve issues by identifying and selectingsolutions through the applications of acquired technical experienceand guided by precedents Has the ability to operate with a limitedlevel of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgementand autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other teammembers. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions aremade, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’sreputation and safeguarding Banking, its clients and assets, bydriving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations,adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regardingpersonal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating,managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

5-8 years of relevant experience in large scaleApps development as a Java developer Hands-on experience in Spring,Spring boot, Java 17, Hibernate, Design patterns, Microservices,Docker, Kubernetes, etc. Good working knowledge of source codecontrol tools and technologies is a must. Strong fundamentals ofOOPS (Object Oriented Programming Standards) Concepts, DataStructures, and Algorithms Strong experience developing andarchitecting integrated solution with non-functional requirementslike scalability, high availability, consistency. Strong experiencewith API and Web Services development using

REST/SOAP

protocolsFundamental database concepts and experience with a relationaldatabase (MSSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL platforms. Ability andwillingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, andtechnology stacks. Fundamental understanding of and experience withcloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes A good understanding ofStandard, Enterprise Design Patterns, and SOLID principles

RequiredSkills:

Java 17 Spring Core, Sprint Boot, Hibernate Junit testingframeworks, Mockito Oracle concepts, SQL, PL/SQL Angular 15 Skillsthat are a plus: React Familiarity with open source and proprietarytech including Kafka. Appian BPMN (RHPAM, IBM BAMOE)
