On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst for a contract role. This position is a position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Rutherford, New Jersey office.

Job Description:

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. This role is focused on contributing to application systems analysis and programming activities, ensuring the enhancement and maintenance of software applications.

• Responsibilities:

• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, recommending programming solutions
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, conducting testing and debugging
• Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgments to recommend and implement solutions
• Resolve issues by selecting solutions through acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
• Operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy

• Mandatory Skills:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Java Full Stack
• Java 17+
• Spring Core, Spring Boot, Hibernate
• Junit testing frameworks, Mockito
• Oracle concepts, SQL, PL/SQL
• Angular 15+
  Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst

• Nice-to-Have Skills:

• React
• Familiarity with open source and proprietary tech including Kafka
• Appian
• BPMN (RHPAM, IBM BAMOE)
• Applied understanding of DevOps, Docker Compose
