We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy Ship Self-Defense System in Moorestown, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Work in a collaborative team using agile software development methodology, performing the following tasks: Participates in software requirements review, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review, and software acceptance reviews. Research problems and develop solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related engineering discipline This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required. This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s). 0-2 years’ experience in software development or maintenance Ability to collaborate with a diverse team Experience developing software with Java or C++ Familiar with Agile development methodologies Familiar with Object Oriented design/development including the employment of Design Patterns to facilitate the utilization of software insulation techniques and plugins Familiar with Linux and UNIX development and test environments Familiar with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse or VSCode Familiar with UML syntax and its use in Model-based tools like Rapsody Familiar with Git version control system Familiar with issue tracking systems like
JIRA or Trello Preferred Requirements:
Familiarity with the following XUnit architecture testing fir unit testing like Google Test, jUnit, cppUnit Lite.
