The Soul team focuses on Audible Playback Insights and Optimizations. This team specializes in collecting, processing, and analyzing Playback data to identify ways to optimize and improve the Audible customer experience.

- Design and develop advanced machine learning architectures and intelligent systems
- Create robust, scalable ML infrastructure and pipelines
- Develop end-to-end AI solutions addressing complex technical and business challenges
- Architect machine learning models with a focus on performance, scalability, and efficiency
- Conduct advanced research and prototype innovative AI/ML approaches
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical solutions with strategic objectives
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing
- Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer, with a track record of delivering complex technical projects
- 2+ years professional experience in AI/ML engineering
- Familiarity in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Experience in AWS with building solutions with several managed and non-managed AWS resources
- Experience in Software engineering including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
- Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating cross-functionally
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced knowledge of MLOps and ML system design
- Experience with large-scale machine learning systems
- Demonstrated ability to architect complex AI solutions
- Publication or significant contributions in machine learning research
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
