JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Solidity Engineer with experience in Quantitative Finance (QuantFi) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of quantitative financial processes including: Derivatives, Swaps, Lending and Repo Markets, Collateral Management and Liquidation, and other advanced trades. The candidate must also have experience with blockchain technology and its associated smart contract capabilities. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and deploying smart contracts for our blockchain projects, ensuring the secure, efficient, and innovative application of decentralized technology to institutional finance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, test, and deploy QuantFi smart contracts. Model and implement sophisticated financial processes Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to integrate smart contracts with web applications. Enable cross chain interoperability and develop smart contracts for a range of L1 technologies Rigorously review code to uphold standards of quality and functional robustness. Maintain and improve existing smart contracts based on evolving needs. Stay ahead of the curve by updating knowledge on cryptographic and blockchain advancements, ensuring potential security threats are preempted and neutralized. Work closely with product managers and customers to crystallize technical needs and system architecture. Offer your blockchain and smart contract expertise to a diverse team audience, catering to both technical and non-technical members. Actively address and resolve issues identified in live smart contracts. Stay updated with the latest developments in the Blockchain ecosystem and adapt solutions accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related STEM field. Over 7 years of experience in software development Prior experience Quantitative Finance and Solidity is a must Development background in sectors such as banking, finance, or trading, with an understanding of financial instruments and systems. Deep understanding of blockchain security practices and potential vulnerabilities. Proficiency with Hardhat and Foundry. Experience with Solidity security testing tools such as Slither and Mythril. Practical experience with scripting languages like JavaScript or TypeScript. Ability to create unit and integration tests to ensure code longevity. Proven skills for the best development practices, data structures, algorithms, and methodologies. Experience working on DeFi infrastructure on derivatives, collateral, lending, risk management, and compliance is nice to have Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related STEM discipline.
