Developer Position Available In Hudson, New Jersey

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid) . Candidates must have hands-on experience with Structured Streaming and cloud-based architecture to be considered for this role.

Rate Range:

$45/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Java, Apache Kafka, Spark, and Structured Streaming. Develop and maintain cloud-based applications integrated with AWS services like S3, Lambda, EMR, and MSK. Optimize real-time data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in streaming applications and ensure operational stability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. Document architecture, workflows, and best practices to support ongoing development and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java development, with at least 3 years in real-time data streaming and cloud-based systems. Proven expertise in Java, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Structured Streaming for building scalable data pipelines. Pay Details:
