Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Java Developer to lead the development of next-generation enterprise solutions for global eCommerce platforms. This role involves hands-on application development, architecture design, and ensuring high performance, scalability, and availability of web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building high-throughput systems and integrating third-party solutions in a distributed Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and deployment of enterprise-level eCommerce applications.
Drive technical vision and contribute to product roadmap and strategy.
Architect and implement scalable, high-performance web applications.
Plan and oversee system deployments and ensure compliance with software standards.
Lead cross-functional engineering teams, including offshore associates.
Conduct root cause analysis of critical business and production issues.
Document testing procedures and application improvements.
Facilitate consensus-building and conflict resolution across teams.
Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in eCommerce software development.
7+ years of experience in developing scalable and high-performing web applications.
5+ years of experience with open-source technologies.
4+ years of experience developing high-transaction, high-throughput systems.
2+ years of experience integrating third-party solutions into existing architectures.
2+ years of experience working in Agile environments across distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of software compliance and security standards.
