Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Java Developer to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of hands-on Java development experience and be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. You will work closely with business partners to gather and define requirements, and ensure high-performance, scalable solutions are delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and maintain complex applications
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
Collaborate with business and technical teams to define requirements
Write efficient and reusable code while ensuring performance and scalability
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Support and maintain existing application systems
Must-Have Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Java development
Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting (Bash, Shell, or Perl)
In-depth knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
Hands-on experience with AngularJS and Web Services
Proficient with build and CI/CD tools such as Maven, Jenkins, and Bitbucket
Experience with scheduling tools like Autosys (or similar)
Strong knowledge of Unix environments and shell scripting
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Job Requirement
