We have an immediate requirement for Observability Engineer@NJ
Job Description:
The application currently lacks observability, and the client is looking to implement OpenTelemetry-based
instrumentation and integrate with tools like Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
Instrument legacy Python-based components to extract logs, metrics, and traces using OpenTelemetry.
Build and manage the data layer that enables integration with observability platforms.
Identify challenges in retrofitting observability into legacy systems and advise on best practices.
This is a delivery-oriented role, requiring hands-on skills not just architectural oversight.
