Snowflake AWS Data Engineer with PL/SQL, Python, Oracle and Capital market Experience

– Jersey City, NJ ( Day 1 Onsite)

– Candidates will have in-Person Final Interview at the Client Office. Plan is to move from Oracle to Board tool. understand cubes- Need to know Data integration who can pick up board platform-Qlik & Sigma

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL scripts to support data processing needs and ensure data integrity within our Capital Markets systems. Utilize Python for data manipulation, automation, and building data pipelines. Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver software solutions that enhance Capital Markets operations. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes. Keep up-to-date with industry best practices regarding database management, programming, and Capital Markets trends. the key skills being prioritizing are: Snowflake Data Engineering Strong PL/SQL Python 10+ years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development, including data modeling, stored procedures, and triggers. Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or similar data manipulation libraries. Proven experience in Capital Markets, with a solid understanding of financial products, processes, and data flows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Oracle Database, SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, or data architecture. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and development practices.
