Software Developer (.Net Core/8.0 )

Job Title:

.NET Developer (Contract)

Location:

 Hybrid (Rutherford NJ) strongly preferred or

Remote Employment Type:

 Contract (Part-time or Full-time availability considered)

Overview:

We are expanding our internal development team and looking for a contract-based .NET Developer to help build a suite of internal web applications and reusable components. You’ll collaborate with our in-house engineers to deliver scalable tools that support critical business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain internal web apps using .NET Core/8.0 MVC with Razor
Build and consume Web APIs using REST and JSON
Implement clean, responsive UIs with HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Tailwind CSS
Collaborate on architecture and reusable component design
Write well-structured, testable code and participate in code reviews
Debug, troubleshoot, and support deployed applications

Required Qualifications:

2-3 years of professional .NET development experience
Proficiency in .NET MVC, Razor, and .NET Standard 2.0
Solid understanding of Web API development
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery
Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or other utility-first frameworks
Basic understanding of dependency injection and component-based architecture
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently within a distributed environment Nice to

Have:

Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework Experience with Lovable.dev design handoffs or prototypes
Exposure to Blazor (Server or WASM)
Familiarity with TypeScript for modern JavaScript-based UI interactions
