Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Java Architect with approximately 15 years of experience in enterprise application development and architecture. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, microservices, and cloud-native technologies, with a strong focus on Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift. This role involves defining architectural strategies, mentoring teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and observable solutions. Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade Java and microservices-based applications.
Define architectural scope boundaries including transaction management and multi-source data integration.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define solutions and establish best practices.
Review solution implementations and provide technical guidance to development teams.
Mentor and coach teams on architectural standards and best practices.
Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to validate architectural approaches.
Create and present architectural solutions and technical strategies for stakeholder approval.
Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Support integration of managed environments into platform ecosystems (e.g., analytics platforms).
Define and implement observability requirements and solutions across platforms. Required Qualifications
Approximately 15 years of experience in Java development and enterprise architecture.
Strong hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
Expertise in cloud platforms, especially Azure, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
Experience in configuration-driven enterprise platform implementations.
Proven ability to integrate managed environments into broader platform ecosystems.
Strong understanding of observability design and implementation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive architectural alignment.
