- IDMS/DC to CICS Conversion (5 Years) Ourclient seeks a Mainframe Developer with Excellent DB2 skills,Strong in stored procedures & strong Cobol, JCL, DB2, and CICSskills.
Good communication skills are required. Responsible foranalysis, design, coding, component, and assembly testing of allapplication code owned by the AppsTeam. The Mainframe consultantwill develop and/or receive program specification requirements.
These specifications will describe the coding to be done.
Contractor will be required to deliver new or modified programs,successfully unit test their work, develop supportivedocumentation, and participate with the users in the system testingof their programs. Experience with database conversions is desiredand helpful
Job Duties:
- Attain a complete understanding of theclient Case Management system and additional client applications inorder to develop from the business/system requirements
- Developand/or receive program specification requirements
- Contractor willbe required to deliver new or modified programs
- Successfully unittest their work and system testing of programs with users
- Developsupportive documentation Only those lawfully authorized to work inthe designated country associated with the position will beconsidered.
