  • Implement ServiceNow platformcapabilities specifically the ITAM, ITSM and ITOM modules includingform configuration, workflow administration, reporting, dataimports, custom scripting and third-party software integrations.
  • Work with the customer to ensure the configuration of ServiceNowmeets their overall requirements including drafting technicallyfocused user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategy, andknowledge transfer.
  • Identify potential “problem” areas withincustomer ServiceNow environments and provide advice on problemresolution.
  • Keeps up to date with industry trends and newServiceNow offerings to enhance the usability of the ServiceNowPlatform.
  • The Senior ServiceNow Developer will complete all workwithin agreed timescales and KPI’s.
  • Assist SHI teams in managingproject timelines and customer expectations.
  • See themselves aspart of the greater whole in meeting or exceeding businessobjectives on a regular basis, as well as assistance in driving keyinitiatives for ITAM.
  • Stay up to date on new ServiceNow productofferings, take on-going training and certification andaccreditations.
  • Maintain industry leading knowledge to understandall aspects of the ITAM and Software life-cycle – from licensing topurchasing to deployment to decommissioning.
  • Learn and follow theITAM department standards to ensure all projects are conductedprofessionally, ethically, and in a manner consistent with SHIquality standards. Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree or relevantwork experience required
  • Minimum 5 years holding a positionconfiguring and customizing ServiceNow projects
  • Minimum of 5years of experience with common web technologies and networking(e.g. XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.)
  • Experienceimplementing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow includingexperience with common web technologies and networking (e.g. XML,HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.).
  • Detailed knowledge of ITILmethodologies, JavaScript and web software design principals andworking knowledge and experience of IT Service Management processes(Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Knowledge, Service Catalog).
  • Detailed knowledge of relational databases, Directory serviceintegration experience (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.), andknowledge of Single Sign-on using various authentication methods(token, SAML 1.1, SAML 2.0) Required Skills

  • ServiceNowImplementation Specialist in three or more applications preferred
  • Additional experience within the IT or Software Asset Managementfield
  • A second language (preferably French or Spanish) will be anadvantage Certifications Required The ideal candidate will hold thefollowing accreditations; if the accreditations are not currentlyheld the successful candidate will be required to study and passall the following accreditations within a short period ofcommencing the role.

If the mandatory certifications are notcurrently held then you will be required to study and pass thefollowing mandatory certifications at a minimum within a 6-monthperiod of commencing the role: Mandatory certifications:

  • ITAM all modules
  • ITSM all modulesthrough to ITSM Professional
  • CMDB and Vendor Portfolio Management
  • ITOM module, focusing on Discovery and cloud managementSupplemental certifications:
  • All LISA Training Modules & ExamsUnique Requirements
  • It is expected that this role may requireinfrequent travel both nationally and internationally (max 10%)
