Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will provide strategic technical consultation and hands-on expertise for complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate and solve multifaceted challenges, contributing to high-impact projects that drive innovation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert consultation on complex software engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
Analyze and resolve large-scale, long-term technical challenges involving multiple variables and novel considerations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals, compliance standards, and technical best practices.
Contribute to the development and implementation of scalable, high-performance systems and tools.
Partner with internal teams and client personnel to deliver high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in software engineering, or equivalent experience through a combination of work, consulting, military service, or education.
Proficiency in Spark, Python, and Scala.
Advanced knowledge of database systems and data architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity in complex environments.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise or cloud-based environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
