VP of DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines – Terraform Ansible – cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) Position Available In Monmouth, New Jersey

Job Description:

We are seeking a technical leader to join our programming teamas a Vice President of DevSecOps who will lead teams of engineersacross DevOps, SecOps, and Site Reliability Engineering functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of engineersacross DevOps, SecOps, and SRE functions, providing guidance onbest practices and personal development. Serve as a technicalleader, driving architectural decisions, fostering a culture ofsecurity, reliability, and automation. Act as a key collaboratorbetween development, security, and operations teams, breaking downsilos and ensuring seamless communication. Lead by example, workingclosely with team members on hands-on projects while encouragingskill growth and knowledge sharing. Hands-On Contributions DevOpsDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamlinedevelopment, testing, and deployment processes. (Jenkins) Automateinfrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, Ansible,or CloudFormation. Collaborate with developers to create scalableand reliable environments in cloud and on-premises infrastructures(AWS, GCP, Azure). Monitor performance metrics, optimize resourceusage, and enhance system uptime. (Grafana) Site ReliabilityEngineering (SRE) Design and implement scalable systems to ensurethe reliability and performance of production environments.

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to identify andresolve issues proactively. Develop playbooks and automationscripts to reduce manual intervention in incident response. Leadpost-incident reviews and drive continuous improvement based on thelearnings.

Requirements and Qualifications:

5 years in DevOps,SecOps, or SRE role, with leadership experience or a proven trackrecord of mentorship in technical teams Hands-on experience withCI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), andcloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) Expertise in both implementing andcoaching on security best practices (e.g. IAM, firewalls,vulnerability management). Solid background in monitoring, alertingsystems (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk), and incident managementStrong background in Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages(Python, Bash, Go) for automating processes Experience in paymentsindustry and/or banking

Leadership Skills:

Proven experienceleading technical teams in a player/coach capacity, balancingleadership with hands-on contributions Strong communication andinterpersonal skills, able to guide both junior and seniorengineers. Ability to drive collaboration across development,security, and operations teams Certifications (Preferred but notrequired): AWS/GCP/Azure Certified DevOps Engineer CertifiedKubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certified Information SystemsSecurity Professional (CISSP) Google Cloud Professional DevOpsEngineer
